Liven up your summer with a Watermelon Frappé

Watermelon is our July 2017 Frappé of the Month! A summer favorite, this frappé can be mixed with your favorite type of alcohol to create a savory frozen cocktail. You can make anything from a melon martini to a melon margarita with our signature mix. Keep reading to see more ways you can make a Watermelon Frappé.

Watermelon Wine Slushy

Our original, signature method. No blender is required (unless you want to use our quick blender method). All you have to do is choose one bottle your favorite dry white wine (a cheap Chardonnay works best), mix it with equal parts water, and a bag of Watermelon frappé mix. Then just, stir, freeze, and enjoy! If you like it strong, feel free to use two bottles of wine and leave out the water, but keep in mind, adding more wine will cause it to take a bit longer to freeze. Check out the recipe page for specific wine mixing instructions.

Melon Margarita

Have you had a rough day and you need about three margaritas to forget about it? Well you're in luck! Just take a gallon zip lock bag, add one and half cups of tequila (or two if your day was extra rough), mixed with four and half cups of water, add the frappé mix, and freeze until you get your desired consistency. Then simply take it out of the freezer, thaw for a bit, and pour it into a giant margarita glass and all of your problems will disappear (well at least they will for a little while). If you need to chug some alcohol quickly, feel free to skip the freezing part and use our basic blender method.

Melon Martini

If martinis are more of your thing or you just want to feel more like James Bond, you can also mix your frappe with vodka or gin! Just follow the recipes above for the melon margarita, and simply swap out the tequila for the liquor of your choice.

Melon Mojito

You can even mix your watermelon frappé with rum! Switch things up and try it on the rocks by mixing it with your favorite white rum. In a two quart pitcher, mix one and a half (or two) cups of rum, four and half cups of water, with a bag of Watermelon Frappé Mix. Stir well until product dissolves, then add bits of crushed mint, serve over ice, and enjoy! If you opt for frozen, just follow the instructions mentioned above, or head over to this page for more details.
