Plan a Wine Frappé Tasting Party!

Wine enthusiasts often enjoy hosting and attending tasting parties to sample different wine varieties. Why not do the same with wine frappés? You can plan a wine frappé—or frozen wine slush —party just like you would a wine tasting party. With a few simple steps, you will be ready to host your first party with friends and family!

1. Choose 3 or 4 wine frappé flavors for sampling. 

Allow guests to focus their attention on several flavors. If you are planning a party during the warm spring and summer months, consider choosing a variety of light, refreshing flavors such as raspberry, pomegranate, or strawberry daiquiri.

2. Stock up on mix-in liquors.

To make each frappé, you will mix one 24.5 ounce bag with your choice of liquor as well as equal parts water. Most frappés mix well with a dry white wine. Some flavors also blend well with other liquor such as rum, vodka, or tequila.

3. Set out pitchers of water with water glasses. 

As guests sample the different frappé varieties, they will need something to cleanse their palette. A sip of ice water will do the trick!

4. Serve a variety of snacks. 

Make sure your guests are not sampling wine frappés on an empty stomach! Some options include nuts, dark chocolate, and different varieties of cheese and dried fruits. Like the water, small slices of bread or plain crackers will help guests clear their palette before sampling another frappé.

5. Remember coasters and wine charms.

6. Blend and freeze your wine frappés!
