How to Best Enjoy Your Granny's Apple Pie Frappé

We have many suggestions!

  • Serve the frappé as a dessert. Instead of serving a slice of apple pie after dinner, try serving a nice tall mug of apple pie frapp. If making it frozen, top it off with whip cream and cinnamon. Serving it hot? Garnish with cinnamon sticks for added presentation.
  • Serve at a Spring picnic. Spring marks the beginning of picnic season. These cocktails can easily be transported in a hot or cool beverage container, making it an excellent drink choice. Pair with an apricot or pear salad, topped with almonds and raspberry vinaigrette dressing to enhance the flavor of the cinnamon and apple.
  • Mix with your favorite spiced rum. Instead of a bottle of wine, mix the frappé with your favorite brand of spiced rum for a sweet treat. In a slow cooker, simply mix one 10 oz package of Granny's Apple Pie frappé mix with 1.5 cups of spiced rum (if your prefer regular rum that can also be used) and 4.5 cups of water. Mix until dissolved, and let it set on low heat for 20-30 minutes or until it reaches your desired temperature, stirring occasionally. Heating in a slow cooker will allow your home to be filled with an inviting spicy apple scent.
  • Mix with cinnamon whiskey. Cinnamon and apples go hand in hand, making this one of our most popular frappé combinations. Mix one 10 oz package of frappé cocktail mix with 1.5 cups of cinnamon whiskey and 4.5 cups of water. Mix until dissolved, let simmer on low heat for 20-30 minutes or until you desired temperature is reach, stirring occasionally. Interested in serving it cold? Use the same amounts of ingredients, and instead mix and place in a gallon size ziploc freezer bag, store in freezer until frozen and then thaw until you reach your desired consistency.
