Wine Frappé and Cheese Pairings

Wine and cheese go together like burgers and fries, one is always better when its accompanied by the other, which makes cheese the perfect complement to our wine frappes. Check out our list below to see which types of cheese pair best with our favorite wine frappes.

Chocolate Martini

This chocolaty treat is best made with merlot or a dry port wine. Serve with gouda, blue or brie cheese for best results. The wine will enhance the flavors the cheeses, and the chocolate flavor will be a surprisingly pleasant complement.

Granny's Apple

Apples and cheese are two snacks that pair extremely well together, which gives you a variety of cheese options to choose from. First, mix the granny's apple pie frappé with chardonnay wine in a crockpot. Then serve with cheddar, swiss, brie or asiago cheese for best taste results.

Margarita

The frozen margarita wine cocktail tastes best when mixed with chardonnay. For some traditional Mexican "flair", serve with monterey jack, which is the cheese typically found in delicious, creamy queso dip. The margarita wine frappe can also be served with blocks of creamy white American cheese if preferred.

Peach Mango

For best results, the peach mango should be made with a dry white wine such as chardonnay, pinot grigio, or sauvignon blanc. Pairing with blue cheese will best enhance the peach mango flavor, and both flavors will complement each other quite nicely. The peach mango can also be paired with cheddar, brie, asiago, or mozzarella cheese if preferred.

Pomegranate

The pomegranate frappé tastes best when mixed with chardonnay. For this flavor, try pairing with cheddar, mozzarella, brie, or asiago cheese. The chardonnay and pomegranate flavors will compliment these cheeses best and will heighten their flavors.

Sangria

The sangria frappé can be made with either a dry red or dry white wine. For a traditional sangria flavor, use merlot or a dry port wine. Once made, pair it with sharp cheddar, parmesan, Romano, blue or gouda cheese for a maximum flavor boost to please your palate.

Strawberry Daiquiri

This customer favorite tastes best when made with a dry white wine such as chardonnay or sauvignon blanc. Pair the frappé with monterey jack, cheddar, brie or mozzarella cheese for best results. The white wine and strawberry flavor will compliment these cheeses, and provide the best flavor pairing.

Very Berry Raspberry

The very berry raspberry frappé mix tastes best when made with chardonnay. For optimum pairing results, serve this frappe with brie or mozzarella cheese. The berry and chardonnay flavors will intensify the flavor in the cheese, and you'll have a hard time putting it down!

Warm Mulling Spice

One of our most popular flavors, the warm mulling spice should be made with merlot or a dry port wine and heated in a crockpot on low heat. You'll want to select a cheese that will appeal to the  hints of cinnamon and spice, so try pairing with sharp cheddar, gouda or blue cheese for best results.
