One of our Fall favorites! A sip of this delicious Granny's Apple Pie Frappé tastes just like a spoonful of sweet and savory apple pie. Blend with wine, spiced rum, or whiskey and serve hot or cold.
Hot/Warm Mixing Instructions:
In a Crockpot, mix:
- 1 bottle of dry white wine (750ml/24oz)
- Equal amounts of water (750ml/24oz bottle)
- 1 package of Granny's Apple Pie Frappé mix (10oz)
or
- 1-1/2 cups spiced rum or whiskey (12oz)
- 4-1/2 cups water (36oz)
- 1 package of Granny's Apple Pie Frappé mix (10oz)
Mix until dissolved. Heat on low 20-30 minutes or until desired temperature.
Freezer Mixing Instructions:
In a 2-quart Pitcher, mix:
- 1 bottle of dry white wine (750ml/24oz)
- Equal amounts of water (750ml/24oz bottle)
- 1 package of Granny's Apple Pie Frappé mix (10oz)
or
- 1-1/2 cups of liquor of choice (Cinnamon whiskey is recommended)
- 4-1/2 cups water
- 1 package of Granny's Apple Pie Frappé mix (10oz)
Stir well and freeze for 3-4 hours or longer.
Thaw for 20-30 minutes, mix with a wire whisk or smooth in blender to desired consistency.
Blended Version Instructions:
- 1-1/2 cups liquor of choice OR 1 bottle of dry white wine
- 1 package of Granny's Apple Pie Frappé mix (10oz)
Add and blend 2 cups of ice cubes at a time, until you have added a total of 6 cups of ice cubes.
Top with whip-cream and cinnamon for an added touch!
Frappé can also be poured & stored in a gallon-size freezer bag!
Salted Caramel Cider:
In a 2-quart Pitcher, mix:
- 1-1/2 cups of Salted Caramel Vodka (12oz)
- 4-1/2 cups water (36oz)
- 1 package of Granny's Apple Pie Frappé mix (10oz)
Stir well and freeze for 3-4 hours or longer.
Thaw for 20-30 minutes, mix with a wire whisk or smooth in blender to desired consistency.
