Enjoy a Chocolate Martini Frappé

Whether enjoying it hot or frozen, the chocolate martini frappe is always a customer favorite. Check out below for tips on how to best enjoy this rich chocolaty frappé.

Serve it frozen as a traditional wine frappe. The way we intended the chocolate martini frappe to be served, our traditional frozen method never disappoints. In a two quart container, simply mix one bottle of dry red wine (we recommend a merlot, port, or burgundy) with equal parts water and one package of the chocolate martini frappe mix. Transfer to a freezer safe gallon Ziploc bag, and freeze until frozen. Once frozen, thaw until desired consistency and serve. No blender or ice required!

Serve spiked hot chocolate. While the chocolate martini frappe was initially intended to be served as a frozen cocktail only, we had so many customer inquiries as to whether this could be served warm, we had to test it out! After a few tests, we've perfected the recipe and are excited to share it with you. For the hot recipe, we found that it tastes best when mixed with vodka, not wine. In a crockpot, simply mix one cup of vodka with four and half cups of water and one package of the Chocolate Martini frappé mix. Heat on low heat for about 20-30 minutes or until you reach your desired temperature. Once done, serve in a mug topped with marshmallows, whip cream, or cinnamon for a tasty spiked hot chocolate treat!

Our quick blender method. In a hurry? You can always try our quick blender recipe. Simply mix with one bottle of wine or one and a half cups of vodka with one package of frappe mix in a standard blender. Add and blend two cups of ice cubes at a time until you have added a total of 6 cups of ice. Store any leftovers in gallon freezer bag and place in your freezer to enjoy at a later date.

Mix your chocolate martini with flavor-infused vodka. Looking for an extra special treat? Make your chocolate martini cocktail with flavor infused vodka using one of the above methods. Try mixing with caramel vodka for a taste similar to a Twix or Caramello candy bar. Use whipped vodka to create a flavor similar to a chocolate fudgesical. For a chocolate flavored explosion in your mouth, use chocolate infused vodka. Is fruit flavored vodka more of your thing? Try strawberry or cherry vodka to create the flavor of chocolate covered strawberries or cherries.
